Brock was a gifted athlete and seemingly healthy. After Brock’s passing, our family learned his heart was enlarged. Sudden cardiac arrest in young people is rare, but it can happen to anyone as it did to our Brock. With this knowledge, we strive to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in young people and prevent similar tragedies in other families.
